Written by Martin Mcgaha

The PC253 is a hardcore fan of gaming PCs and is always focused on building and suggesting powerful rigs that can handle any title easily. Whereas, today We are focused on reviewing the very best prebuilt gaming PCs under 2000 dollars for you with all details that are required to help you choose the right gaming rig for $2000.

Question for you, would you prefer having a gaming desktop that is built by a well-known brand or just an ordinary manufacturer that ignores most of the stuff in a PC build?

My answer to this is simple, the brand doesn’t matter actually as long as you get the right gaming PC because a label is just a label. However, you can’t expect a good gaming rig from many of those brands and that’s when CyberPowerPC, iBuyPower, Skytech, CUK, etc comes in. That’s all because these well-known names can offer a much better prebuilt gaming PC under $2000 as compared to those mediocre brands.

Whereas, out of hundreds of options, I came up with the compiled list of only 5 best gaming PC under 2000 in order to avoid most of the hassle for you. Hands down, these are the best ones out there these days that can handle almost all titles in high settings with no lagging.

Things To Consider

Most gaming enthusiasts are more interested in high-end gaming desktops especially when you have a budget of $2000. Whereas, the good news is that most of the $2000 gaming desktops come with powerful hardware that allows you to get the most out of your games. On the other hand, you must be straight about the components that you wish to get in a prebuilt pc under $2000. Of course, you can build your own custom gaming PC for 2000 dollars but to avoid the hassle of assembling the PC, I think the prebuilt is much better for you alongside other advantages.

Dividing the prebuilds into different budget categories is what we have always been doing since the beginning to you guys choose your desired rig according to your planned budget. It’s also beneficial for most of you not to exceed your fixed budget.

When it comes to the gaming PCs under $2000, it’s free from compromises. On top of that, it looks great with a design that follows the futuristic ergonomics alongside the LED lights that adds more to the glamour of these rigs. Whereas, you can also build a custom PC with some extra kick to the performance in this budget because of a better CPU and GPU. Yet, the Prebuilds are no less with everything powerful. Let’s make it simple, with a budget of $2000, the gaming PC that you’ll get is able to play games on a 4k setting and I must say, what more do you want from a rig that can achieve the high FPS counts.

Without a single doubt, a $2000 gaming desktop always provides the FPS that you have always desired. This means that having one of the PCs in this budget range comes with the most outrageous specs that can crush all of your favorite game titles and tasks you throw at it. On the other hand, it allows you to have a better gameplay experience in 4k settings. Whereas, getting your hands on one of these rigs will leave you with no regrets while the PC will last longer. Moreover, you can also upgrade the $2000 PC in the future in order to achieve maximum performance. I would recommend upgrading the newest CPU and GPU on your rig that is going to release in the near future.

Is A $2000 Gaming PC Worth It?

My short answer is yes, it’s worth having because if you’re leaving this much amount on the table for a gaming PC, it provides value to your money not only in the theory but actually. This means that a powerful processor like the Ryzen 5 3500X, a graphics card like RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, and 1TB NVME SSD is what you’re getting on a $2000 rig that results in a smooth gaming experience. Personally, I am always in favor of 4k settings instead of low settings as your brain needs satisfaction and it can always be found in 4k settings.

$2000 Prebuilt Gaming PC Vs. Custom

The PC253 is always focused on helping you in building your own rig as they have a slightly better performance than the prebuilds. Whereas, most of you might not know the technical knowledge of assembling everything which results in different issues on your rig. If this is the case, I am strongly in favor of a prebuilt gaming PC under $2000 as you don’t have to worry about building the rig and purely focus on playing the games. Shortly enough, build one if you what you’re doing and get a prebuild if you don’t know a thing about building a gaming PC.

Note: If you don’t want to have such an expensive gaming PC, I would strongly recommend having a look at the best prebuilt gaming PCs under $1000.

The CUK Aegis R is an unbeatable rig that is sporting some interesting specs and features for gaming enthusiasts in need of lightning-fast performance and 4k experience. Whereas, I am not a fan of the ergonomics on the CUK Aegis R, which maybe because of my taste. However, it’s the favorite rig of many users.

When it comes to hardware components, the CUK Aegis R is offering many good options that include the Intel Core i9-10850K with 10 cores alongside the liquid cooling system.

In addition to this, a 32GB DDR4 RAM is installed here which is a much better option for multi-tasking as compared to many other $2000 prebuilt gaming PCs.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X | Memory: 16GB RAM DDR4 | Storage: 1TB NVME SSD | Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB | Operating System: Windows 10 Home

The Skytech Chronos is a beast that is holding some high-performance hardware components with nice aesthetics for more attraction. Processor: Intel i7-10700F | Memory: 16GB RAM DDR4 | Storage: 480GB SSD + 2TB HDD | Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB | Operating System: Windows 10 Home

The iBUYPOWER is the last best prebuilt gaming PC under 2000 is a little bit weaker than the above 4 rigs that I reviewed for you but it can still run the latest titles in medium settings.

However, the aesthetics of the desktop are in favor of the package. Now it’s not like the PC is completely dumped. Whereas, as compared to the specs and features the rig also comes cheaper than all the above desktops. This concludes that the iBUYPOWER Gaming PC is worth having.

Starting with the specs, the GeForce RTX 2060 sits inside this rig with a memory of 6GB. Whereas, the Intel i7-10700F is offered by the iBuyPower to achieve the clocking speed of 4.8GHz on max. I must say, the CPU is much better than most of the $2000 rigs and GPU is a little bit compromised to meet the budget requirements.

On the other hand, the memory is as it is found on other beasts that is 16GB DDR4 RAM and it adds up to the performance. As for the storage, this gaming PC is holding on to 2 different components, making it a hybrid.

This includes the 480GB SSD with the 2TB HDD and honestly speaking, I am a little disappointed with the SSD storage capacity which must be a little more.

Overall, the iBUYPOWER Gaming PC under 2000 is a cheaper option as compared to most of the rigs on the list that can provide a better gaming experience in medium settings for most of the titles.

4.8GHz clocking speed.
16GB memory.
RTX 2060 GPU.
